FRANK DIED Sept. 11, 1991, from complications of leukemia which developed shortly after having two knee replacements in Feb. 1991. Don Good and Tom Ward , former roommates, attended his wake and funeral.

Frank entered Princeton in the summer of 1942, having been graduated from Blair Academy. He was one of the first freshmen to play varsity football, as center and linebacker. He also participated in varsity heavyweight wrestling and varsity track in shotput and discus. After serving in the Army Air Corps, Frank married and limited his athletic endeavors to football, becoming cocaptain of the team.

He was graduated in 1948 with an architecture degree. For two years he shared his pursuits in the architectural field with a career in professional football with the New York Yankees. His working career was spent as a partner in the architectural firm of Shive, Spinelli and Perantom in Somerville, NJ. He retired as a partner in 1989, but remained a consultant.

Frank served as a borough councilman and on the planning and zoning boards in the Somerville area. He was a director of the Raritan Savings Bank and was actively involved with his church, St. Joseph's in Raritan ' He also was a member of the board of directors of the Friends of Princeton Football.

His main recreational interest was salmon fishing. For a number of years, he owned a retreat in New Brunswick, Canada, where he could pursue this avocation.

Frank's survivors include his wife of 44 years, Madeline, his daughter Jeanne Jordan '78; his sons Jay '75 and Ken; his sister Clara; his brothers Tony and Al '52; and two grandchildren. Frank inspired many by his example, leadership, and accomplishments, always carried out in his own quiet and unassuming manner '
