HATCHMAN DIED Mar. 1, 1994, at his home in Clark's Summit, Penn. Jim prepared at Norristown (Penn.) H.S. He was in the navy from 1942-46 and joined us in 1945, graduating in 1948 in architecture. He was a member of Prospect Club.

A lifelong architect, Jim did stints in Philadel­phia, Raleigh, and Charlotte before returning to his native Pennsylvania. He was associated with various firms and with the Tobyhanna Army Depot until he retired in 1992. He also had a private practice. His work included public and private houses, commer­cial and industrial buildings, motels, churches, hospitals, schools, and athletic facilities.

To his widow, Elizabeth; daughters Nancy and Susan; and sons Peter, James, and Meritt, the class extends its deepest sympathy.
