TED DIED Nov. 3, 1989. He had prepared for college at Residence in Madrid and the Croissant School in Lausanne. At Princeton he was advertising manager of the TIGER and captain of varsity fencing. He belonged to Cloister Inn and roomed with Carl Breuer.

He received a law degree from the Univ. of Paris in 1932 and a diploma from the École des Hautes Études Internationale in Paris in 1934. Then he returned to the U.S. and got his law degree from Harvard in 1937. He practiced in New York, first with Bigham Englard Jones & Houston, and then with Abberley Bryde Kosiman MacFall & Amon. In 1946 he joined the Equitable Life Assurance Society and stayed with them until retirement.

Ted's fascination with Paris continued, and he kept his apartment there, but he also loved N.Y. and the Metropolitan Opera. He regularly came to N.Y. for a few weeks each year, usually during the opera season. After his retirement he settled in Wellesley, Mass.

In 1942 Ted married Raymonde Walter. She survives, as well as their son, Dominic, and Ted's sister, Geraldine Weil.

The Class extends sincere sympathy to Ted's family.
