Jeff died Sept. 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City. He was 33.

A native of Trumbull, Conn., Jeff lived in Wilson College as an underclassman and joined Cloister Inn, where he served as game room chair. He was an engineering major, leading tours of the Engineering School and tutoring there. He was a member of the Princeton University Jazz Ensemble and Tau Beta Pi. He also participated in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

After graduation, Jeff earned a master’s degree in engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an MBA from New York University. He worked at General Electric on classified aerospace engineering, and later joined Marsh & McLennan — initially in computer programming then as a manager in the risk technologies group focusing on client relations.

Jeff enjoyed running, including the New York City Marathon. He was an active member of the Brotherhood Synagogue in Manhattan, sometimes leading the singing of prayers when the cantor was away.

Jeff is survived by his parents Wilma and Donald, and his wife, Heidi.
