Jeffrey A. Grambling *79

Jeffrey Arthur Grambling passed away on Aug. 2, 1993, in Albuquerque, where he resided. He was a full professor in the Dept. of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the Univ. of New Mexico. He received his undergraduate degree from Colgate in 1975 and a Ph.D. in geology from Princeton in 1979. Jeff devoted his professional career to the study of the geologic history of New Mexico, to the teaching and guidance of graduate students in metamorphic petrology, and to the teaching of undergraduates. He had a great love for the mountains and landscape throughout the State of New Mexico. Jeff is survived by his widow, Gail Grambling; two children Lara and Tyler; his parents, Lois and Arc; his brother, Mark; and sister-in-law, Marcia. His Princeton friends and colleagues extend deep sympathies to the bereaved family.
