Jens A. Tellefsen ’31

JENS TELLEFSEN passed away in Port Valley, Calif., Sept. 2, 1992. He was born in Copenhagen on Aug.5, 1903. He prepared at the Hun School, where he was on the tennis team. At Princeton he ran second for the Mary Cunningham Humphrey Junior German Prize and he was a member of Cap and Gown C1ub. Jens served as president of I.B.M. Norway for 35 years, retiring in 1968. He lived in Spain for 12 years, and was a resident of Portola Valley for 14. He is survived by his sons Jens Jr. '60 and Dag '66, and four grandchildren, two of whom presently attend Princeton, in the classes of'94 and '96. He was buried at the family grave site in Nordstrand Kirke, Norway. We will miss him, and we send our sympathy to his family.
