Jere Hutchins Dykema ’48

JEREDYKEMA DIED July 1, 1993. A native of Grosse Point, Mich., Jere joined us by way of Grosse Point Country Day and Hotchkiss. At college, he was in Charter. He graduated from Harvard Law in 1953. Jere served as an associate lawyer with Dykema and Gossett in Detroit. He later became assistant for international affairs for the secretary of defense in Washington. In 1960, he moved to Cambridge, Mass., and was associated with the law firm of Herrick and Smith. Two years later, he was a founder of Foster, Dykema, Cabot & Co., an investment management and banking firm in Boston. Jere is survived by his wife of 38 years, Annette; sons Henry and Alex; daughter Martha Frost; and brothers John '40 and Raymond '44. To his family the class extends its deepest sympathy.
