John Arne Carlson ’66

Body

He entered Princeton with our class after graduating from Nicholas Senn High School in Chicago. He remained at Princeton for three years and then graduated from the University of Illinois. He went on to receive a master’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

John was a longtime resident of Chapel Hill, where he worked as a real-estate appraiser. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in that city and was active in the VASA Swedish Club of Raleigh.

The class extends its sympathy to John’s brother, Rolf Carlson, and his nieces and nephews.
