WIDELY KNOWN BANKER and financial consultant, John died June 13, 1992, at his home in Cocoa, Fla., following a long and valiant struggle against cancer.

Active in financial affairs in New Orleans for 30 years, John operated Delta Capital Corp., a small business investment company, and was an officer and director of the Nail. Assn. of Small Business Investment Companies,

Twice he was chairman of the Natl. Advisory Council for the Small Business Administration, Washington, D.C., and served as consultant on community banking to Citicorp, New York. At the time of his retirement, in 1982, he was president of the First Nat]. Bank of Brevard County, Fla. In retirement lie continued writing books and articles on banking.

A former lay reader at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, after his eyesight failed (he became legally blind) he continued to participate in parish and diocesan activities.

John is survived by his widow, Martha Alexander, who tells us that attending our splendid 50th reunion was one of his happiest experiences. To Marty, to his daughter Adele, and to his two grandchildren, we offer our sincere sympathy.
