JACK RUMERFORD died Nov. 30, 1991, in Tenafly, N.J., where he had lived for many years. A memorial service was held Dec. 4 at the Presbyterian Church in Tenafly.

Jack was born June 29, 1910. He lived in Montclair and went to Newark Academy. In college he was a member of Colonial Club and roomed with Ed Bartlett and Bud Wheeler.

Jack left college early. During )XVII he was an inspector for the Navy at Boeing. He spent many years with National Dairy Products (later Kraft Foods), retiring in 1976 as controller of the Sheffield Chemical Division.

On March 29, 1940, Jack married Eleanor Demarest, who survives, as do their two daughters, Elizabeth K. and Susan S. RutherfordThistle. Jack is also survived by a brother, Robert E., and by two grandchildren.

The Class of '33 expresses its sympathy to Eleanor and to the rest of the family.
