JACK DIED July 2, 1994. He was born in Jeannette, Penn., and prepared for college at Mercersburg. He was a member of Arbor Inn and Buzz Irvine was his roommate. He went to Columbia P. & S. and interned at Brooklyn Hospital, beginning practice in Dover, Del. During the war, he was in the army medical corps. He became chief of orthopedics and surgery at Rhoads General Hospital in Utica. In 1952, he founded the Edward John Noble Hospitals in Alexandria Bay, Canton, and Gouverneur in New York state, and served as health officer of the Canton consolidated health district, surgeon for the New York Central Railroad, and team physician for Colgate Univ. He is survived by his widow, Patricia, and three sons, Dr. John Q., Dr. J. Turner, and Jay M. The class extends sincere sympathy to Jack's family.
