JOHN BLAIR DIED Apr. 6, 1994, at his home in Golf, Ill. He spent his working career with Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago. He worked as a securities analyst in the investment division of the bank. He retired in 1969.

He prepared at Exeter. At Princeton, he majored in economics and was a member of the track squad and Quadrangle Club. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business in l930. In addition to his work at the bank, he was a director of the Central Iowa Fuel Co., enjoyed playing golf, and was a member of the University Club of Chicago and the Congregational Church.

John married Barbara Gustafson July 6, 1949. They had one daughter, Ellen E. His wife and daughter survive. John and his family lived in the suburbs of Chicago. He attended the class's 50th reunion. The class extends its sympathy to Barbara and Ellen, and John's classmates gratefully remember his integrity of character and his ready friendship.
