John Mitchell Brush ’21
JOHN MITCHELL BRUSH, M.D. died Sept. 5, 1991. He was 91. He had been in poor health for some time and died in a nursing home in Nazareth, Penn.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from Brooklyn Polytechnic Prep. At Princeton he rowed bow on the 1921 championship crew. He earned a Phi Beta Kappa key and was a member of Cloister Inn.
Jack received his M.D. degree from Columbia Univ. and specialized in pediatrics. He was affiliated with Babies Hospital in New York for many years and was assistant clinical professor at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
His last wife, Lillian, predeceased him by a few weeks. He is survived by his son Dr, Craig B. Brush and daughter Brenda. To them the Class extends sincere sympathy.
