JOE DOWD DIED Dec. 5, 1993, his 35th birthday. He was a hemophiliac who contracted AIDS from contaminated blood products in the early 1980S.

Joe grew up in Glen Cove, N.Y., and attended the Human Resources School in Albertson. At Princeton, he majored in psychology and belonged to Terrace, Joe got his master's in hospital administration from Ohio State Univ. in 1986. He later got interested in computers and worked in O.S.U.'s computer labs until Jan. 1993, when he could no longer work.

Joe is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Joseph Sr., and brothers Michael and Timothy. The class extends its sympathy to them.
