Kenneth Wilard Barrows ’22

Body

KEN BARROWS died on Oct. 25, 1987, in Jenkintown, Penn. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and prepared for Princeton at Penn Charter School in Philadelphia. After graduation, he worked as a salesman for Globe Ticket Co. and Moore Business Forms. In 1947, he founded his own firm, Barrows & Co., printing brokers in Philadelphia. This kept him busy—he worked Saturdays and Sundays—but not so busy as to preclude continued interest in Princeton or his passion for foreign travel. In 1992, he married Marcelle Staunton. They had one son, Harry S. ’42, who survives him.

Marcelle died, and, in June 1971, Ken married Clair Robinson, who also survives him. He had planned to retire to Italy, but he also planned to defer his retirement as long as possible. Thus, he never retired. To his widow and son, we express our sincere sympathy.
