LAWRENCE HARRY WUNDRICH, age 64, died Jan. 11, 198 5, in Rockville, Md. He was born in Irvington, N.J., grachl3ted from Irvington H.S. and enrolled at Indiana Univ., Bloomington, majoring in political science. He received a bachelor's degree in 1940, and studied in the Department of Politics at Princeton. In 1941 he went to Washington, D.C., and served there until his retirement in 1980. This included several years with the Senate Appropriations Committee, followed by transfer to the Office of Emergency, Preparedness, where he advanced to executive director, th e position which he occupied at retirement. Mr. Wendrich then returned to "his first love, reaching," and continued as

a pedagogue at Montgomery College in Rockville, until shortly before his death. Mrs. Wendrich died some six moths after her husband. Their son Brian J. survives. le, him and his family we extend sincere sympathy.
