LARRY LARKIN DIED Nov. 21, 1993, at age 90 in Tallahassee, Fla. A graduate of Culver Military Academy, Larry left Princeton after our sophomore year to make a career of service in the army. At Princeton, Larry was a member of Ivy. With the approach of WW II, Larry attended and graduated from the command and general staff school at Ft. Leavenworth. He then taught tactics in the cavalry school at Ft. Riley and later commanded a battalion in the 10th Mountain Infantry Divison. Larry served more than two years in the field in the China and Burma theaters and was decorated for distinguished service by the Chinese government with the Order of the White Cloud. He held the rank of lt. colonel and continued in the reserves at that rank until he retired in 1956. He attended Columbia Univ. and in 1946, received a B.S. in Oriental studies. His work after the war included color photography and painting both in oil and watercolors.

Larry and Roseanne Roudebush were married in 1947. They had no children, and Roseanne died Oct. 25, 1977. Later, Larry moved from their home on Long Island to Tallahassee, where he lived until his recent death. He left no near relatives, his parents and a brother and a sister having predeceased him. It is with regret that we record the death of this quiet member of the class.
