Leonard M. Hanan ’26

Body

LEONARD HANAN, who was known to many friends as Pete, died at his home in San Francisco Apr. 27, 1993, of coronary failure, following a long illness. Leonard entered Princeton with his brother Dick, but after our freshman year, transferred to Swarthmore, where he graduated in 1926. For the next five years, Leonard ran a ranch near Calgary before moving to San Francisco. He was in the real estate and securities management business there for many years.

Leonard was preceded in death by his brother Dick, who died Oct. 12, 1992. He is survived by his widow, Dorothy, whom he married in 1934, and brother Charles, both of whom have our deep sympathy.
