LIN WILLIAMS, of Heritage Village, Southbury, Conn., died there May 17, 1992. A funeral service was held on May 19 at Sacred Heart Church.

Lin was born Oct. 7, 1910, in N.Y.C. He prepared at St. Paul's and Hun. In college he rowed on the crew squad, and was a member of Quadrangle. He roomed at first with Mac McKinnon, and later with Barney Koren and Wait Devereux.

Lin left college early and entered the brokerage business. He spent many years with Hayden, Stone in Pleasantville, NY. He also served in the Army, both during WWII and again in the late '40s. He was separated from the Army as a captain in 1952.

Because of his health, Lin moved to Heritage Village some years ago, but for a while he continued to spend his winters in Sarasota.

On Nov. 27, 1950, Lin married Katherine Axery Conlon, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. She survives him, as do their two daughters, Patricia (Mrs. Richard Kady) and Katherine (Kim) (Mrs. Steven Donaghue). There is one grandson. Two sisters also survive. Lin's father, the late Linsly R. Williams, was a member of the Class of 1895.
