Lisa Nicole Bryant ’93
ON JULY 10, 1993, Lisa was murdered at Fort Bragg, N.C. She was on a temporary assignment as a second lieutenant in the army. Born at Andrews Air Force Base, Lisa grew up in England and California, and graduated from James W. Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Va. She was extremely active and accomplished, serving as Virginia Girls' State Governor, captain of the j.v. and varsity cheerleading squads, the managing editor of her school newspaper, and was a charter member and the president of the Junior Civitan (a community outreach organization).
At Princeton, Lisa attended college on an army R.O.T.C. scholarship and continued her involvement in many extracurricular activities. A sociology major and member of both Stevenson and Terrace clubs, she served as V.P. of her freshman class and as vp. of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. She had just begun her term as class alumni V.P. Many remember her cheering on the Tigers with the spirited squad she founded and led.
We will never forget Lisa's independence, dedication, fun spirit, and warm smile. She is survived by her parents, Wilbert and Emily, and brother Wilbert Jr. In her memory, the Lisa Bryant Fund for Children has been established. Donations can be sent to the Office of the Recording Secretary, P.O. Box 140, Princeton, NJ 08544. Our sympathies and prayers for her family have not ceased.
