Malcolm G. Baker ’28
Malcolm Graham "Mac" Baker died Mar, 9, 1994, in Houston. He was at Princeton for freshman year only, being unable to return because of illness. He graduated from college at Rice Institute in 1929. He prepared at the Hill School.
Mac spent his career in banking and investments at the South Texas Commercial Natl. Bank. He also served as a director of the Graham Realty Co. In the military, he was a second lt. in the Army 8th Air Force from 1941-45. He was a member and vestryman of the St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, and a member of the River Oaks Country Club.
Mac's family had many Princeton connections: two brothers, James A. 'I 5 and Walter B.; nephews James A. III '52 and Lovett '52 and another nephew; great-niece Caroline E. '84; and granddaughter Jessica L. '97. Mac married Anita Stewart in 1930. She survives, as do two sons, Malcolm Jr. and Dr. Stewart A. Daughter Shirley predeceased him.
