Malvern F. Morse ’33
MAL MORSE died Mar. 30, 1992, in Jacksonville, Fla. Mal was born June 4, 1911, in Marlborough, Mass. His father was in the Navy, and he lived in Newport, R.I.; Paris; and Washington, D.C. He prepared at Severn School. In college he roomed with Ted Wingo, Curly Marsh, and Bill Ludlow. lie was a member of Quadrangle.
After college Mal went to work for American Security and TrustCo., in Washington, from which he retired in 1970. During WWII, Mal served in the Army Airways Communication Service in London and Wiesbaden,
After retirement, Mal spent a good deal of time on his boat, eventually settling in Abaco, the Bahamas.
On May 18, 1946, Mal married Patricia Proctor, in Beverly Hills, Calif. She died in 1980. He is survived by three children, Gregory, Nancy Burns, and Roberta Hughes. To all of them, the Class of '33 expresses its sympathy.
