Mario Joseph Lacazette ’45

MARIO LACAZETTE cited in Lexington, Ky., Aug. 10, 1991 from complications of a longstanding heart condition. Lac entered Princeton from Exeter, following in the footsteps of brother Alfred '43. He was a member of Quadrangle Club and took his Princeton degree in history in 1947, after service as a fighter pilot with the Eighth Air Force in the European theater. Lac flew I 1151 Mustang, and, for his hazardous cornbat cluty, lie was awarded three battle stars on his E.T.O. ribbon, its well as three oakleaf clusters on his Air Medal.

After graduation fie became a reporter for the SALISBURY TIMES in Maryland, arid a teacher in New Jersey, eventually moving to Kentucky, his residence at the time of his death.

Lac is Survived by his brother Alfred, a nephew Alfred Jr., and a greatniece and nephew, to all of whom the Class extends its sympathy.
