Maura Cathleen Donohue *90

Body

MAURA CATHLEEN DONOHUE, a graduate student in the Dept. of Art and Archaeology who was pursuing her doctorate at Princeton, died tragically on Apr. 16, 1992, while awaiting a suitable donor heart for transplantation. During her childhood, she had survived leukemia, but it is alleged that the medication she received at that time led to her ultimately fatal cardiac problem. She was born on Aug. 23, 1961, and received her bachelor's degree in French in 1983 from Middlebury College. In 1987, she was awarded a master's degree in art history by the Univ. of Massachusetts. her colleagues and professors at Princeton all attest to her cheery demeanor and declining of any special consideration for her medical problems. She is survived by her husband, James Taunton, a graduate student in mathematics at Princeton. To him and to her surviving family we extend our expression of deep sorrow in this tragedy.
