Mo died Dec. 11, 2015, in La Jolla, Calif. Born and raised in St. Louis, he came to Princeton from University City High School, where he was class president and valedictorian. At Princeton he majored in chemistry, took his meals at Tower Club, and rowed on the freshman crew. His senior-year roommates were Ed Dubrow, Pete Rosenberg, and Neil Crane.

After Princeton, Mo earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri, followed by internship and residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He trained as a radiologist with the Public Health Service in San Francisco, where he met, fell in love with, and married Susan in 1969. After a four-year fellowship in New Orleans, he joined the radiology staff at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs, retiring to La Jolla in 1980 because of his asthma. Regaining his health, he spent 11 years at JFK Memorial Hospital, Indio, Calif., serving two years as chief of staff before retiring again to La Jolla.

Mo is survived by his wife, Susan; sons Marc and Joshua; grandson Ari; and brothers Morgan and Leonard. Susan writes: “Loved by his patients, colleagues, hospital staff, family, and many friends, his ready smile and sweet goodness will be missed always.”
