NORB DIED Dec. 10, 1993, in N.Y.C., after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. At Princeton, Norb was in STIA. He was a member of Terrace Club. During WWII, Norb served in New Guinea and the Philippines. Attached to an air force press unit, he covered McArthur's return to the beaches of Leyte, among other things.

After graduating, Norb spent almost his entire career in marketing. For several years, he was vp. of Creative Playthings. Later, he became president of Alabe Products, a subsidiary of Ideal Toy Corp.

Norb had lifelong passions for photography, sailing, handicrafts, and Latin America. He authored numerous professional books and articles on marketing and on photography. In 1965, he developed a highly successful U.S.A.I.D. program to create products from Andean countries in South America. In 1979, he established his own consulting business, concentrating on product development in Haiti, El Salvador, and Guatemala. At the time of his death, he was president of a foundation supporting women in the arts.

Norb is survived by his widow, Virginia; daughters Beth and Sarah Jane; son Josh; and three grandchildren. He was a regular at Reunions and will be missed at our 45th. To Ginny and all the family, the class extends its deepest sympathy.
