Nye R. Larrimer ’58

Nye died Oct. 28, 2010, at his home in Columbus, Ohio.

He came to Princeton from Columbus Academy. He majored in psychology, ate at Tiger Inn, and was a member of the Pre-Medical Society and a football manager. Senior year he roomed at Tiger with Bob Fish, Bob Casciola, and Tom Morris.

After Princeton, Nye graduated from Ohio State University Medical School, where he also did his residency. He was a board certified hematologist/oncologist and practiced first with the Central Ohio Medical Group and then with the Mid-Ohio Oncology/Hematology Group.

Nye was an avid sports fan and a good tennis player, rising to the top level in the Columbus area. He even owned a tennis club.

To Sara, his wife of more than 50 years, his six children, and six grandchildren, the class sends sincere condolences on their loss.
