PELL FOSLER DIED Apr. 30, 1993, in Easton, Conn., after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Pell was born in Andover, Mass., and went to Phillips Academy. Returning to Princeton in the spring of 1946, Pell joined Cap and Gown, took part in numerous athletic and extracurricular activities, and was a member of the Woodrow Wilson School. Pell began his career as a market executive with Macy's, then worked with Spring Mills, EZ, Dan River, and Cluett Peabody, specializing in incentive selling. Before and after his retirement, Pell was active in civic affairs in Southport, Conn. He was president of the Sasquanaug Assn. for Southport Improvement for over 15 years, during which he was a leader in the protection of the beauty and environment of Southport. He was also an avid reader and sailor.

Pell is survived by his former wife, Sally; by two daughters, Ruth Coyne and Betsy; a son, Sandy; and three grandchildren. A son, Pell IV, and a daughter, Susan, predeceased him. Pell was a loyal arid devoted member of the class, and we join with his family in mourning.
