R. Bentham Simons III ’42

OZE DIED Feb. 9, 1994, at his home in Charleston, S.C. He had practiced internal medicine at the V.A. hospital there for many years before retiring several years ago.

Oze attended Exeter and, at Princeton, majored in biology and was a member of Tower Club. After receiving his M.D. at Columbia P. & S., he spent three years in the naval medical corps, as a It. j.g. After the war, he practiced at the Lexington (Ky.) clinic before moving to Charleston.

Oze was a member of the Cincinnati Society, the Society of Colonial Wars, the St. Cecilia Society, and the Carolina Yacht Club. To his sons, Robert and Thornwell; his daughters Sara, Serena, and Marion; his sister, Marion; and his cousin, Stoney '42, the class extends its most sincere condolences.
