STUYVIE PIERREPONT died Jan. 19, 1995, of cancer in Hobe Sound, Fla. He left his widow, Molly, whom he married in 1937; five children; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Stuyvie was on the swimming team at both Lawrenceville and Princeton, on the Daily Princetonian board, and a partner in the Princeton Advertising Agency. He left Princeton sophomore year to become president of the Univ. Advertising Agency.

He continued his advertising career with Benton and Bowles and Lloyd Chester and Dillingham, Inc. By 1947, he was New York sales representative and an assistant motion picture director for Jerry Fairbanks Motion Pictures Co. He worked for the Republican Natl. Committee and the John Paul Jones Bicentennial before joining the War Production Board in Washington and the American Field Service. He was assigned as a press representative in Italy.

In 1948, he was an assistant naturalist on the Harvard University medical expedition to the Belgian Congo and then assistant to the chairman of the American Economic Foundation. By 1952, he was with F. B. Hall, Inc., insurance brokers in Wall Street. By 1952, he was treasurer of Seth Low Corp. By 1962, he was with Starr Associates. He was also a director of the Waterman Pen Co. To Molly and his numerous family, we send all our sympathies.
