Reginald Sims II ’28

Body

REGINALD (BUNT) SIMS died in Tampa, Fla., on July 22, 1989, after a long illness. He lived during his early years in New York, and his family moved to Florida in 1920. He prepared for college at Mercersburg. At Princeton he majored in English and was a member of Key and Seal Club.

Bunt spent his entire working career in the field of real-estate and property development in Florida. He was interested in travel, and in 1970 went on an African safari trip sponsored by the Princeton Club of New York. Bunt was active in the Florida West Coast Princeton Alumni Assn., and served on the Schools Committee. He attended both our 50th and 55th reunions.

Bunt had two sons by his first marriage: Sanderson, who lives in Honolulu, and Byington, of Green Valley, Ariz. He later married Pauline Flagler, who survives him. They lived in New Port Richey, Clearwater, and Tampa, and had a summer home in North Carolina. His classmates remember him with affection as a congenial friend and loyal member of the class, and extend their sincerest sympathy to Pauline and his sons.
