THE CLASS REGRETS to report the death of Rend Clark on Feb. 1, 1992. Ren6 prepared for Princeton at Germantown Academy, where he served on the Student Council and focused on tennis and basketball. In college he roomed with D, A. Huber. At the time of graduation, he married Margaret Adams.

Appropriately to his name, Rene resolved on the study and teaching of French, which became a lifelong occupation. After traveling in France and Mexico, he earned an M.A. from Harvard. He began his teaching career at the Millbrook School, where Margaret assisted him. Ren6 also directed the school's program in photography. Their daughter Claire Louise also studies French. Upon retirement, the couple returned to Rene's native state of Pennsylvania.

The class extends its deepest sympathy to Rene's family and friends.
