Richard H. Miller ’47

For 36 years he successfully marketed photographic products, first with DuPont and then with Schoeller Technical Papers Inc. in Pulaski, N.Y.

Upon the eve of Dick’s full-time retirement in Naples, Fla., Peggy died suddenly. Happily, in 1990, Dick met and married Anne, whom he called “a lovely lady from Pittsburgh.”

In our 50th yearbook he reported that “my major accomplishment is my family.” His family indeed became quite an enterprise: 16 children and grandchildren after Anne added three to Dick’s 13.

In retirement, Dick was extraordinarily active in ’47 and Princeton activities including, inter alia, many AG campaigns, and service as a trustee and then a director of the large and marvelous Princeton Club of Southwest Florida.

Old age finally took its toll, and Dick died peacefully June 15, 2010.

We extend our warm wishes to Anne and the family, along with this tribute to our loyal classmate and Princetonian.
