RICHARD W. TELSCH, age 38, an expert in the application of electrical engineering principles to air traffic control, died July 4, 1986, at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va. He was born on Sept. 18, 1947, in Philadelphia. He earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at Lehigh Univ., in 1969, and his master's degree, also in electrical engineering, at Princeton in 1971. His professional career was devoted exclusively to electrical engineering controls and improvements in the field of air traffic control. He worked with the Mitre Corporation of MacLean, Va. where he rose to the position of department head. Subsequently he was associated with Stanford Telecommunications, Inc., also of MacLean, He is survived by his widow, Patricia, and two daughters, Kimberly and Lisa. Sincere apologies are offered to Mrs. TeIsch and to his family for the delay in publication of this information.
