Robert A. Deich was killed Dec. 26, 1994, in an automobile accident. He was 45. A Natl. Merit Scholar and an undergraduate alumnus of M.I.T. with a B.S. in physics, he got his Ph.D. at Princeton in biochemical science. Dr. Deich had a distinguished record of achievement, most recently during a 10­year career with Lederle-Praxis Biologicals as a molecular biologist. He is survived by his widow, Tip Benyajati *77; his parents; and one sister. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.
