Robert H. Muller ’43

Body

BOB DIED Apr. 1, 1991, at his home in Montclair, N.J., following a long and courageous fight against cancer. He was 69.

A true Princetonian to the end, Bob attended the Class's 47th reunion in 1990 by wheelchair and golf cart, when the disease attacked his ability to get around on his own.

Bob graduated cum laude from Princeton, and he was a member of Sigma Xi. He took his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1946, and served in the Army in WWII.

From 1957 to 1987, he was director of health services at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge, NJ, From 1955 to 1986, he also served as Montclair Board of Education physician.

Bob led an active social and professional life. He was a trustee of Montclair Academy, a life member of the University's Campus Club, belonged to Glen Ridge Country Club, and was affiliated with many state and national medical organizations.

Survivors include his widow, Joan, and two sons, Robert Jr, and Russell. To the entire family, we extend our most heartfelt condolences.
