Robert H. Post ’47

Body

Bob served in the 86th (Blackhawk) Division, in both Europe and the Pacific during World War II.

Returning to Princeton, he graduated in ’49, earned an M.B.A. at Columbia, and began a successful 35-year career with New York Bell Telephone Co.

In ’54 his beloved Edythe came into his life, and they were soon married. Over the next 35 years they enjoyed their four children and four grandchildren. For many years the entire family enjoyed camping together in the Adirondacks as well as summers spent in their Middlebury, Vt., home.

Bob and Edythe were active members of the Woodcliff (N.J.) Lutheran Church, which they served in many capacities. He was also a loyal ’47er and Princetonian.

He died peacefully March 11, 2010. We send our warm wishes to Edythe and the family.
