OUR DISTINGUISHED classmate Bob Aaronson, born Jan. 15, 1902, died Jan. 12, 1993, having lived a full life with many activities and personal interests.

Bob was educated at Bordentown, N.J., public schools and entered Princeton Univ. with our class from Bordentown Military Institute. He later earned his law degree from what is now Rutgers Univ. He joined his father's insurance agency in 1923, becoming a partner in 1927. He retired in 1976, remaining in Bordentown.

An active citizen all his long life, our classmate was the chairman of the local civil defense and the cochairman of the Police Reserves during WWIL He was the secretary of the Chamber of Commerce for 14 years, a trustee of the local library association, and a member of the board of directors of the Bordentown Banking Co. and the Bordentown Building and Loan Assn. He was a charter member and past president of the Bordentown Rotary Club. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge 28 F. & A.M., Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Trenton, and Crescent Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. Bob was also an exempt fireman and a member of the Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club. He often spent weekends surf fishing at Beach Haven.

Bob is survived by his widow, Margaretta; his son, Robert Howard III; his daughter, Susan Hinckley; one granddaughter; and one greatgranddaughter.
