Robert James Daiute ’79

Body

He was born in Montpelier, Vt., July 4, 1957, to Eleanor and Robert Daiute and attended Lawrence (N.J.) High School. While at Princeton, he majored in math and was a proud member of the swim team and Tiger Inn. His roommates were Larry Studnicky, Robert Brauer ’81, Ed Chow, Bob Kaminsky, Peter Allen, Matthew Riedel, and Ron Lamont.

Bob received a law degree from the University of San Francisco in 1983 and became a member of the California bar in 1984. He practiced law in San Francisco and savored good food, wine, and the company that goes with it.

The “City Bear,” as he was known to his close friends, had diverse interests and was by all accounts a man of principle who lived life on his own terms.

Bob is survived by his parents and his sister, Maria. The class extends deepest sympathy to them.
