ROBERT LOMAS BUCKBEE DIED July 30, 1994, in Port Charlotte, Fla. He had suffered an incapacitating stroke in 1988 and a second one two years ago. Bob grew up in N.Y.C. and came to Princeton from Evander Childs H.S. At Princeton, he was a member of Key and Seal Club.
He earned an M.A. at Columbia in 1934 and spent his business career in the credit department of J.P. Stevens and Co. in N.Y.C. He served in Burma during the war as a technical sergeant in the Army Air Force's weather service.
Bob and his wife, Arabelle Wheatley, whom he married in 1956, began wintering in Florida in 1971, and lived there year around after 1987. In her words, they had 32 great years together before the stroke. To her, the class extends its sincere sympathy.

My parents owned the farm next to Bob and Arabelle’s farm in Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania. They were good people.
