BOB HATCH DIED May 31, 1994, at his home in Riverdale in the Bronx. He was born Aug. 21, 1910, in N.Y.C. He prepared at Choate. In college, he was on the Daily Princetonian, a member of Tower Club, and he roomed with George Gray. Bob spent most of his career with The Nation, in N.Y.C. He was the film critic, then managing editor, and in 1967 he became executive editor. After he retired, in 1978, he continued to write film reviews for the magazine. In Nov. 1939, Bob married Ruth Bower, who survives, as do their children, Peter and Gillian Gretton, and three grandchildren. To Ruth and the rest of the family, the class extends its deep sympathy.
