Robert Lloyd Flack ’48

Body

BOB FLACK died on Sept. 2, 1989, at his home at Liver¬pool, N.Y. His heart just gave out on him.

A native of Syracuse, Bob came to us from the Manlius School. He was a member of Cloister Inn. Bob roomed for part of his undergraduate years with Doug McKown, and he later ushered in Doug's wedding. He was a vet¬eran of WWII.

Bob attended the Syracuse Univ. School of Law, and in 1952 he was admitted to the bar. He practiced law in Syracuse for ten years and then moved to Watkins Glen, where he practiced until 1984. He also ran a small ab¬stract company with his wife. He served as village justice in Watkins Glen and district attorney for Schuyler County before he was appointed a Schuyler County judge. Upon his retirement from the law five years ago, Bob moved back to the Syracuse area, where he was active in the Sons of the American Revolution, the May¬flower Society, and the Society of Colonial Wars. He was a longtime Mason.

Bob is survived by his widow, Helen, and daughter, Meredith, to whom the class extends its deepest sympa¬thy. We share their loss.
