Robert Martine Kittel ’44

BOB PASSED away following a stroke at his retirement home in North Palm Beach, Fla., on Aug. 20, 1988. He was 66. He is survived by his wife, Anni Okkens Kittel; two daughters, Lynn and Cynthia; a brother, Charles Kittel; and four grandchildren.

At Princeton Bob roomed with George Bail. His major was economics. He was a member of Quadrangle Club and served on the photographic board of the Daily Princetonian. After graduation in 1943 he entered the Navy serving in the Pacific theater, leaving active duty as a lieutenant, j.g. His business career began in N.Y. in sales with the American Agricultural Chemical Co. He moved with his wife and two daughters to Worcester, Ma., to become general manager of the Wachusett Corrugated Corp. He served on the schools committee of the P.A.A. of Worcester. At the time of our 20th he was Executive V.P. of the Rand-Whitney Corporation in Worcester.
