Robert Norman Richards ’54

Body

Born in Sunbury, Pa., he graduated from Williamsport High School. While at Princeton, he majored in history, played varsity football, was a member of Tiger Inn, and was active in many campus organizations.

Robert graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1958 and completed training in orthopedics at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. He practiced that specialty in Grand Forks Clinic in North Dakota until his retirement in 1994.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marie; his four sons, Jeff, Norman, Steve, and Daniel; 12 grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara. The class extends its sympathy to them all in their loss.

Memorials may be directed to Woodside Village of Valley Memorial Home or the Alzheimer’s Association.
