Robert T. Mills ’53

Body

A student at Wauwatose (Wisconsin) High School from Waukesha, Wis., Bob left Princeton after his freshman year. It’s understood that he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Indiana State College. Also, it’s been learned that Bob died March 9, 2001.

During his nine months on the Princeton campus, he planned to have engineering as his concentration, roomed with Ron Schmidt, and ran cross country. We discovered that in 1953 he married Joan Jene and they became parents of three children, Michael, Cheryl, and Gail.

Fifty years ago, Bob was a technical representative for the explosives department of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., belonged to a local rod and gun club, and was a member of the New England Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association. His last known address was in New Hampshire.

To his survivors, our condolences and regrets that Bob did not keep in touch.
