Roderick McKenzie ’35

Body

RODERICK DIED Jan. 10, 1992, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, Mich. He was 79.

Rod was an advertising executive for the Detroit Free Press, J. Walter Thompson, and Anthony M. Franco. Most of his business career was in Michigan and Florida. He left Princeton at the end of freshman year, but when he worked in New York, he visited Princeton for an occasional game and weekend. In our 25th yearbook he wrote: "I hope and believe Princeton will stand for a long time as a strong link between the good things of the past and the opportunities of the very Unpredictable future. "

His survivors are his wife of 40 years, Ramona; son Roderick; daughters Helen Merrill and Sara; two grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren; to whom the Class extends its sympathy.
