Sherman T. Brown ’26

THE CLASS OF 1926 was saddened to learn of the death of Sherm Brown of lung cancer on Sept. 26, 1991. He was 86 and had lived in Castle Garden, Nortaglen, Colo., near Denver, for the previous 16 years.

Sherm, who came from an old Denver familyhis grandfather had owned the famous Brown Palace Hotel prepared for Princeton at the Hill School. During freshman and sophomore years he shared adjoining room, with Bill Moore at 6 Bank St., demolished many years go. He majored in economics and was a member of Cloister Inn. He was graduated magna cum laude. He had a long career in several warrelated manufacturing companies, including Douglas Aircraft and Denver Gardner Co.

Sherm married Augusta Coors Collbran in 1927 and had one son, Sherman T. Brown 111 '5 1, who was with us at our 25th reunion in 1951, but who died in 1963 He is also survived by his daughter, Sally Macinnes; a grandson; and two greatgrandchildren,
