Stanley Bright ’32

Body

Stan Bright died Oct. 25, 1994, in Northeast Harbor, Maine, of a fatal heart attack. After leaving Princeton, Stan attended the Penn Law School, obtaining his LLB. degree in 1935.

He practiced law for a number of years, then was associated with Parrish & Co. in Philadelphia as an investment broker. Thereafter, he became a private investor. During WWII, he was in the legal department of E. C. Budd Manufacturing Co. He also engaged in making folding plastic cartons-an innovation in the late 1940s.

Stan is notable for, among other things, having been one of the most prolific members of our class. He leaves 10 children and 17 grandchildren. Son Nicholas predeceased him. Stan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; his children, Leila, Stanley, J. Clayton, J. Reeve, James R., Elfrida, Lawrence, Christine Keegan, Eleanor, and Jeanette; and his grandchildren. The class extends its condolences to all of them.
