STRATTON WYNKOOP DIED Jan. 31, 1994, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., where he had lived for five years. He prepared at Albany (N.Y.) Academy. After graduating from Princeton, he continued his education in mechanical engineering at Cal. Tech., the Univ. of Southern California, and the Univ. of California.

After that, he joined Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach. Stratton married Nancy Caroline Barstow Apr. to, 1943. 111 1948, they moved to New York, where he worked as a standards engineer with Eastman Kodak Co. He also worked with Bausch and Lomb. They lived on a farm in East Rochester, where he served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church. I n 1962, Stratton went to Lockheed Aircraft in California. He also set up a department of electrical engineering at Varian. He retired in 1981.

Stratton had a lifetime love affair with boats. He built his first boat at the age of 14. Later, he lived in Newport Harbor aboard a sailboat he helped build.

Stratton is survived by his widow; six children, Katrina Simmons, Peter, Susanna Killian, Linda Oswald, Jonathan, and Mary Burns; 12 grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren.

Stratton and Nancy attended offyear and to aj or class reunions. The deep sympathy of the class is with Nancy and their children.
