STUYVESANT BAYARD DIED Dec. 7, 1993. He was born in Buffalo in 1912. After four years of war service in the army, primarily in the Pacific area, he joined La Hacienda Co., Inc., publishers of La Hacienda, A Fazenda and Annuario. He became president and publisher in 1957. In the late 1960s, he founded the sales organization, The S. Bayard Co., Inc., remaining as president until his retirement to Sarasota, Fla., in 1978. Stuyvesant was a member of various business organizations such as the I.A.A., N.A.A.M.A., A.P.R., and N.E.P.C.O. He was a member of Dial Lodge and a former member of the Valhalla Club, the Panther Lake Club, and the Knollwood Assn. as V.P. Stuyvesant was active in the Boy Scours and the Y.M.C.A., former president of the Madison Jr. H.S. P.T.A., and a former regional chairman of Princeton's alumni fund drive. He is survived by his widow, Gloria J.; two sons, Albert William Il and David E; two daughters, Pamela Troutman and Judith G., and eight grandchildren.
